Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 2 September 2025

Thank you for using Cardturf.

If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we encourage you to review our Refund and Cancellation Policy for detailed information regarding refunds and returns.

The provisions set forth in this Policy shall apply to all products purchased from CardTurf.

Interpretation and Definitions

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) should be read together with CardTurf’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and mandatory consumer law, the law shall prevail. Capitalised terms used but not otherwise defined here shall have the meanings assigned in the Terms and Conditions.

For the purposes of this Policy, “Service” refers to CardTurf’s digital business card platform, including all related features, tools, and integrations accessible through cardturf.com. A “Subscription” means a paid, recurring plan that grants you access to the Service for a defined billing cycle. The “Billing Period” refers to the recurring interval applicable to your Subscription, such as monthly or annual cycles. A “Promotional Money-Back Guarantee” is a limited refund assurance explicitly advertised by CardTurf for a named product or plan during a defined timeframe. These guarantees apply only to the specified products and plans, and only for the exact promotional period publicly communicated by CardTurf. A “Payment Processor” means a third-party company such as Stripe that is authorised to process payments, settle funds, and manage refunds. CardTurf does not directly store or process payment instrument details such as full credit card numbers. All financial transactions are subject to the Payment Processor’s terms, policies, and timelines. References to “you”, “your”, or “customer” include both individual users and representatives acting on behalf of organisations who purchase or use the Service. References to “we”, “our”, or “CardTurf” refer to the Company as the provider of the Service. These definitions are intended to aid interpretation and should be read consistently across this Policy.

General Refund Policy and Promotional Guarantees

All Subscriptions relate to digital services that begin immediately upon activation or purchase. Unless otherwise expressly stated in this Policy, or in a valid Promotional Money-Back Guarantee, all fees are strictly non-refundable and non-creditable once a Billing Period has begun. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months or unused time. At our sole discretion, CardTurf may consider goodwill refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis. Such accommodations are exceptions and do not create any future obligation to provide similar remedies. Customers should not expect refunds absent an advertised guarantee or a legal obligation that cannot be waived.

Promotional Money-Back Guarantees, when offered, apply only to specific products or plans named in the promotion and only for the publicly advertised timeframe.

To qualify, you must submit a valid request before the end of the guarantee window and comply with all applicable conditions. Requests made outside of the window or for non-covered products are ineligible.

CardTurf reserves the right to verify eligibility for a Promotional Money-Back Guarantee, including reviewing usage patterns to confirm compliance with promotional terms.

We may refuse requests that fail to meet the stated requirements or appear fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with the guarantee’s intent.

In jurisdictions where mandatory law provides additional refund rights, those rights will apply notwithstanding this Policy.

Nothing in this Policy shall limit or exclude statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Cancellations, Renewals, and Refund Requests

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each Billing Period unless cancelled before renewal. You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current Billing Period, and you will retain access until that date. Fees already paid for the Billing Period are non-refundable.

If you downgrade your plan, the downgrade will generally take effect at the start of the next Billing Period unless we specify otherwise. Downgrades do not entitle you to refunds or credits for the remainder of the current Billing Period.

Where you terminate your Subscription due to a verified, material, and uncured breach by CardTurf, we may, at our discretion, issue a proportionate credit for the unused portion of the Billing Period. Otherwise, our standard non-refundability terms apply.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under this Policy, you must submit a refund request by email to info@cardturf.com . Your request must include your account email, order identifier, purchase date, plan type, and a clear explanation of your circumstances. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

CardTurf will review all refund requests in good faith and will communicate a final written decision. Where a Promotional Money-Back Guarantee applies, your request must be received within the advertised guarantee period. Requests received after that period will not be considered valid.

Payment Processors, Chargebacks, and Disputes

All financial transactions are processed by third-party Payment Processors selected by you at the time of purchase. CardTurf does not collect, hold, or store your funds, nor do we retain full payment details.

If a refund is approved, CardTurf instructs the Payment Processor to issue the refund through the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Processing times, settlement delays, and currency conversions are controlled by the Payment Processor and your issuing bank.

CardTurf is not responsible for delays once a refund instruction is submitted.

Refunds are always issued in the original transaction currency, and fluctuations in exchange rates or bank fees are outside our control.

If you dispute a transaction, you agree to first contact CardTurf to attempt resolution before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks initiated without giving us an opportunity to resolve the matter may be treated as a breach of our Terms and Conditions

CardTurf will submit evidence to the Payment Processor in response to any chargeback and reserves the right to recover amounts, fees, and costs arising from unfounded or abusive chargebacks.Abuse of the chargeback process may also result in suspension or termination of access to the Service.

We emphasise that purchases made through third-party vendors, such as NFC printers, messaging apps, or integration partners, are outside the scope of this Policy.

Refunds for such purchases must be sought directly from the third party under its terms.

Additional Terms on Refund Eligibility

CardTurf may consider discretionary refunds in exceptional circumstances, such as duplicate billing caused by system error, accidental purchase promptly reported on a first and only occurrence, or documented service unavailability materially exceeding typical levels and directly attributable to CardTurf.

Dissatisfaction arising from third-party dependencies, such as network conditions, integration failures, or user-side configuration errors, does not qualify for refunds. Similarly, we will not consider refunds for dissatisfaction caused by your non-use of the Service, unless explicitly covered by a Promotional Money-Back Guarantee.

Where free trials or introductory pricing are offered, charges begin at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial expires. Once billing begins, fees are non-refundable except where mandatory law or a valid Promotional Money-Back Guarantee applies. Refunds, credits, or goodwill accommodations are one-time remedies and do not create a precedent. Granting a refund on one occasion does not obligate CardTurf to grant similar relief in the future. We may also restrict your eligibility for future promotions or refunds if abuse or misuse is suspected. By activating paid access to digital services that begin immediately, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the EU right of withdrawal for digital content once performance has begun. This waiver does not affect mandatory, non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

Governing Law, Changes, and Contact

This Policy is subject to the laws of Ireland, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Business users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, with venue in Dublin. If you are a consumer located in the EU/EEA, you may bring claims in your country of residence where mandatory law so provides. CardTurf reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date, and material changes will, where required, be communicated through reasonable means such as email or in-Service notifications. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Nothing in this Policy shall limit or exclude rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. If any provision of this Policy is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement. This Policy applies only to fees paid directly to CardTurf for the Service. Purchases from third parties remain outside our control and are subject to their respective terms. CardTurf disclaims responsibility for third-party pricing, fulfilment, or refund practices.

If you have questions about this Policy or wish to request a cancellation or refund review, you may contact us at info@cardturf.com . Please include your account email, order identifier, and a clear description of your request so that we can process it efficiently.
